It was the end of middle school and I had to make the big decision of which high school to go to. I had the choices of Ventura High, Buena High, or even Foothill Tech., because I got into that school. My mom wanted me to go to Foothill, but what school would be best for me?
I had three options, the decision was hard. I had friends going to all three schools. But friends are not what school is all about, of course I wanted to go to the school where all of my friends were going, but deep down, Foothill is where I would get the best education. Even though I had tons of friends going to Buena High and my best friend was going to Ventura High, Foothill had the best education rate for me.
If school was all about friends, I would be at Buena or Ventura. That’s what I really wanted. But I knew that I had to choose the best education school. Plus, if I go to Foothill, I can meet new friends and keep my old ones that go to Buena and Ventura. But would I be happy at the small nerd school aka Foothill Tech. and have to meet new friends or would Buena or Ventura be better? Education? Or social life and friends?

That’s when I realized that Foothill Technology High School was the school for me!
I was right; Foothill was the school for me. I ended up going there and I love it. I didn’t want to at first because I not vary many of my friends were going there, then I realized that education was way more important than my friends when it came to school. Then finally at the end, I decided to go to Foothill Technology High School for its amazing education!!!
